This week we thought we’d help business owners understand what the program is all about and how easy it can be to transform the way you currently do business.
What is the CDAP program (Boost your Business)?
“The Boost Your Business Technology grant gives you up to $15,000 to get advice and up to $100,000 in interest-free loans from the Business Development Bank of Canada (BDC) to implement the technologies that can propel your business forward.
You’ll have access to an expert digital advisor who will help you develop a plan tailored to your business needs.”
Is my business eligible?
There are several eligibility criteria, however, the key ones are:
- Are you a Canadian Business?
- Did your business make $500,000 gross in 1 of the last 3 years?
- Do you have at least one employee (other than yourself)
There are a few others however, we’ve seen some allowances given and the program is really focused on helping Canadian businesses so don’t be hesitant as its risk-free to apply.
How do I apply?

What happens after I’m accepted?
See it wasn’t that hard! Just some online forms that took a little longer than a coffee break. Next step is simple; you select your Digital Advisor. We hope that will be us. We’ve done over 150 CDAP submissions for our clients and we’d love to work with you next.
We will take you through the CDAP process and when you are satisfied with the final report, you’ll upload it back into the portal for review by the program administrators. If everything goes as expected, you’ll receive your grant funding to pay for the work we’ve done together and shortly after that, you’ll have access to the 6-year interest-free loan (amounts vary based on your business’s revenue).

- Website grant
- $7300 wage subsidy.
